1. Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is on the Canada/US border and consists of 3 waterfalls – American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. These falls have the world’s highest flow rate – about 28 million litres of water travel down the falls every second! Niagara Falls is a hydropower source that produces about one-fourth of the electricity for the province of Ontario and the state of New York.
2. Decew Falls

DeCew Falls is a Niagara Region waterfall located near St. Catharines, Ontario. It is a 21m waterfall below the historical Morningstar Mill and is often said to be the prettiest waterfall in Ontario!
3. Beamers Falls

Beamers Falls is a cascade type waterall on Forty Mile Creek. A cascade waterfall is when the water generally stays in contact with the rock as it’s flowing downwards.
4. Albion Falls

Albion Falls is the main waterfall in Hamilton’s east end, with 2 viewing platforms.
5. Smokey Hollow Waterfall
Location: Waterdown, Ontario

Smokey Hollow waterfall is a beautiful ribbon waterfall that flows from Grindstone Creek in Waterdown. It is also known as Grindstone Falls, Waterdown Falls or Great Falls. It’s about 10 tall and once used to power a saw mill. There’s a viewing platform and you can also hike down a steep hill to reach the bottom of the falls.

7. Secord Falls
Location: Near Sudbury, Ontario

Secord Falls is a beautiful waterfall and rapids just off the Trans-Canada Highway near Sudbury.
8. Chippewa Falls
Location: Near Batchawana Bay, Ontario

Chippewa Falls is located right along the Trans-Canada Highway just north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. There are many sets of falls at this spot with a total drop of 20 meters.
9. Kakabeka Falls

Kakabeka Falls is located right on the Trans Canada Highway, just outside of Thunder Bay. This amazing waterfall is inside a provincial park, and has the most beautiful natural setting. The falls are 40 meters tall, are the 2nd largest in Ontario and have been nicknamed “Niagara of the North”.

Raleigh Falls is a hidden gem just off the Trans Canada Highway near Kenora, Ontario. It’s easy to miss as it’s marked as a rest area along the highway.
